That said, I absolutely loved The Magicians Land. Grossman did the finale justice. I felt that the ending was very original and well thought out, and it was so satisfying to watch grown-up Quentin not f*ck up everything. Yeah I mean, everything is open to interpretation. I don't think La La Land is that cynical too, it's wholesome overall. "The fools who dream" is song that makes something hopeful and finds dignity in something that would make other people say "look at these fools who believe they are gonna make it in the industry, ha!".

Hey! I worked on the soundtrack, score, and film of La La Land for 3 years and it was the highlight and joy of my life. While the content of this heading is correct, some might come to understand after reading it that Ryan actually RECORDED the correct notes.
You can see that in how it’s got a 90% from audiences and like a 40% from critics on RT. From my point of view, La La Land has a deeper message than The Greatest Showman plus better scenes, such as the opening number of La La Land. Greatest showman is LOOSLY based on a real person. Its basicly 99% fiction.
